Cookies

This site uses cookies, including third-party cookies. By continuing to browse the site or closing the short information banner on all pages (or clicking any of its elements) you consent to the use of cookies. Below we explain what cookies are and how you can refuse to consent to all or some cookies.

Cookies are short text files that are downloaded to your device when you visit a website. On each subsequent visit, the cookies are either sent back to the website that issued them (first party cookies) or to another website that recognises them (third party cookies). Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise the User's device. They serve various purposes, such as allowing you to navigate efficiently between pages, remembering your favourite sites and generally improving your browsing experience. They also help to ensure that the advertising content displayed online is more targeted to the user and their interests. Depending on their function and purpose of use, cookies can be divided into technical cookies, profiling cookies and third party cookies.

Please note that by default almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. However, visitors/users can change the default configuration. As mentioned above, however, disabling or deleting cookies may prevent the optimal use of some areas of the site or affect the use of services under authentication. Many of the cookies used are automatically deleted from the hard drive of your computer at the end of each browsing session (hence the name "session cookies"). On the other hand, there are cookies that remain on the hard disk. Their permanence is quite long (a few years) for reasons of convenience. Once the Customer has visited the site for the first time, the system will be able to recognise on each subsequent visit that the Customer has already been to the site and will therefore retrieve the Customer's favourite requests and data (long term cookies). These cookies will enable the Customer not to have to re-enter his password or fill in forms each time he logs in again. Cookies can also be deactivated by selecting the corresponding parameters in the specific browser options. It should be noted, however, that in this way the Customer will not be able to take full advantage of certain functions of the site.

In addition, the cookies may be the site's own (used, for example, to find out the number of pages visited on the site) or third-party cookies (i.e. generated by other sites to deliver content on the site you are visiting). This site may use anonymous third-party cookies in order to dynamically manage the delivery of advertising messages. The most popular browsers provide the possibility of blocking third-party cookies only, accepting only the site's own cookies. Moreover, some companies that generate cookies on third-party sites offer the possibility to deactivate and/or inhibit in a simple and immediate manner only their own cookies, even when these are anonymous, i.e. they do not involve the registration of personal identification data (such as, for example, the IP address).

Cookies placed for the purpose of aggregate analysis of site visits

Cicli Mattio uses tools for the aggregate analysis of navigation data to improve the Websites: Google Analytics, a service provided by the company Google Inc. ("Google"). These tools use cookies that are deposited on the User's device in order to allow the manager of the Websites to analyse how users use the sites themselves. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Websites (including your IP address, which has been rendered anonymous by removing certain digits) will be transmitted to and stored by Google. This information is used for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Websites, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. In order to protect user confidentiality as much as possible, Cicli Mattio applies the 'IP masking' option, which requires the system to black out the last 8 digits of the visitor's IP address before any processing, thus making the data analysed anonymous. Users who do not want cookies related to Google Analytics can prevent them from being stored on their computers by using the "Google Analytics deactivation browser add-on" made available by Google at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. To activate the component, which prevents the system from sending information about your visit, simply install it by following the instructions on the screen, close and reopen your browser. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. For further information on Google Analytics, please refer to Cookies and Analytics and the relevant privacy policy for Google Analytics.

How to disable cookies

Most internet browsers are initially set to accept cookies automatically. You can change these settings to block cookies or to warn you that cookies are being sent to your device. There are various ways to manage cookies. The user can refer to the help screen of his browser to find out how to adjust or modify his browser settings. In the case of different devices (e.g. computers, smartphones, tablets, etc.), you should ensure that each browser on each device is adjusted to reflect your cookie preferences.
However, we remind you that disabling navigation or functional cookies may cause the site to malfunction and/or limit the service we offer.
For any third party cookies that may be used by this website, please find below the links to the website where you can disable them. For more information on cookies and to manage your preferences on third party profiling cookies we invite you to visit http://www.youronlinechoices.com

Technical Cookies

Technical cookies are those whose use does not require the User's consent pursuant to Article 122, paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree 196/2003. Among these technical cookies, we point out the essential cookies, also called "strictly necessary", which enable functions, without which it would not be possible to fully use the Site. These cookies are used exclusively by Cicli Mattio and are therefore first party cookies. They are only saved on the user's computer during the current browser session. Essential cookies are used, for example, when keeping track of an item added to the shopping cart, the currency and language the User has chosen while browsing, or when filling out a form. These cookies also facilitate the transition from http to https when changing pages, so that the security of the data transmitted is always guaranteed. Such a cookie is also used to store your decision to use cookies on our website. Essential cookies cannot be disabled by using the functions of the Site. Technical cookies also include those used to statistically analyse access or visits to the site, also known as "analytics" cookies, which are used exclusively for statistical purposes (but not for marketing or profiling purposes) and collect information in aggregate form without the possibility of tracing the identification of the individual user (anonymised, see above). These cookies can be deactivated and/or deleted via the browser settings.

These essential cookies cannot be disabled using the functions of this website. In general, cookies can be deactivated completely in your browser at any time.
Below, we list the name and purpose of each technical cookie that we use

Profiling cookies

Profiling cookies, in the words of the Garante, are "designed to create profiles of the user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while surfing the web". For these, adequate information and a request for consent is required because both the Guarantor and Europe consider them invasive with respect to the private sphere of users.
Cicli Mattio does not use profiling cookies.

Third party cookies

While browsing Cicli Mattio's website, the User may also receive cookies from different websites or web servers (so-called "third party" cookies): this happens because the website may contain elements such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the requested page is located. In other words, these cookies are set directly by operators of websites or servers other than the Site. These third parties could theoretically set cookies while you are visiting the Site and thus obtain information relating to the fact that you have visited Cicli Mattio. You will find more information on the use of cookies by accessing the link provided (Privacy Policy). If you decide not to allow the use of third party cookies, you will only be able to use those features of the Site that do not require such cookies.
Below, for each third party cookie on the Site, we list the name, purpose, the name of the third party storing the information and the relevant link to the third party's website.
